Roger Lipe is the Character Coach Director for Nations of Coaches, a ministry to college basketball in the USA. He served with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Southern Illinois from 1994 to 2021.

Roger serves as character coach to Southern Illinois University Men’s Basketball and has served as character coach or sports chaplain to several of the athletic teams at SIU across thirty years. 

Roger was born and raised in Carbondale and currently resides there with his wife, Sharon, to whom he has been married since 1975. They have a son, a daughter-in-law, and two lovely granddaughters. 

Roger is the author of fifteen books for ministry in sport. Several of the most popular are listed here:
