Mascot On A Mission

Dan Meers goes to work each day like many other men, dressed in a suit. The only difference is instead of wearing a tie with his suit, Dan wears a tail. You see, Dan has an unusual occupation; he is a professional mascot. For more than 30 years Dan has served as KC Wolf, the mascot for the Kansas City Chiefs football team. In 2006 Dan became the first NFL mascot inducted into the Mascot Hall of Fame. Although his occupation is mascot, his preoccupation and passion in life is using his time, talent and treasure to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Dan uses his platform as KC Wolf to work alongside many organizations and ministries that are bringing aid to orphans and the poor around the world. Dan believes we are all called to be difference makers in this world. We are called to care for those who are hurting and helpless. Regardless of whether you re the CEO of a company or a custodian, no matter if you are the head coach of your team or just the team mascot, each of us can live a life of influence. Each of us is uniquely designed by God to make an impact with our lives.
